Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) is a form of dementia resulting in memory impairment as well as difficulties with language, decision making, judgement, and loss of personality. The consequences of these symptoms can be very painful for family members as they watch their loved one become fragmented and distant.
There presently is no way to stop the progression of AD. Widely accepted treatments include the use of pharmaceutical drugs that are minimally effective in slowing the effects of the disease and have potentially dangerous side-effects.

The cannabinoids in cannabis are not only known to be anti-inflammatory, but also to be anti-oxidants which prevent degradation of cells, including brain cells.
